Greetings, and welcome to the RCT Music Ministry!

In light of the extraordinary year of building, renewal and commitment that was 2011, we're very excited about the prospects for RCT in 2012, and about the church's brand new web site!  Our Adult Choir continues to grow in numbers and skill, and prepares a new anthem, and often an introit, each week for worship.  Plans for the Handbell Choir this year include periodic appearances in worship, and involvement in our annual Palm Sunday Concert.

This year we are trying something new...Jazz Vespers on Sunday evenings at 5:30 during Lent.

For the annual Palm Sunday concert this year we are planning to perform the Schubert Mass in G, and as always, we welcome community members with choral experience to join us for rehearsals and the performance.  Please contact the church office at (914) 631-4497 for details.

Seven Sundays at the Old Dutch Church in the summer will be held again, and we are cooking up what promises to be another series of inspirational worship services.  These services, melding various musical genres with the liturgy, have been described by participants and attendees alike as, "moving", "a different way of going to church", and "a new, fresh way to use music to spread the Word".

Please do join us on Sundays at 10:30 at the Clock Church at 42 N. Broadway, as we embark on our spiritual journey with "a joyful noise"!

Music Ministry

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises. Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody. With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord. Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world and those who live in it. Let the floods clap their hands; let the hills sing together for joy at the presence of the Lord.                                                      —Psalm 98:4-9
